Voge is a brand of Chinese industrial group LONCIN, known in the motorbike industry as an engines manufacturer. BMW has made it its subcontractor for the production of the 850 twin-cylinder F-series.

At first glance, the 500 DS is a nice bike, well finished and well equipped. It belongs to the mid-range trail bike family, in which it makes an excellent showing.

It is powered by a 471cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, in-line twin-cylinder engine developing 37.5kW (48hp) at 8,500rpm and 42.5Nm at 7,000rpm.

With a seat height of 815 mm, the feet can touch the ground and the grip is facilitated by the weight of 188 kg fully loaded.

The bike has a steel trellis frame, and brakes, suspension and tyres are all of the highest quality in the category. Finally, the equipment is not to be outdone as the 500 DS is very well equipped as standard.
